United Just Short of Fortune 500

GREENWICH, Conn. — United Rentals is ranked No. 517 on the new Fortune 500 listing, which actually lists the top 1,000 ranked businesses in North America by total revenue. Last year United was ranked No. 529.

United is ranked No. 1 on the RER 100, which lists the top 100 rental companies in North America by rental revenue.
