Las Vegas-based Cashman Equipment named Jeff Maxson director of sales for the company's Southern Nevada operations. Burt Cunningham was promoted to general construction sales manager. Dave Lowell was appointed sales representative, focusing on the company's aggregate and quarry customers in Southern Nevada.

Dave Damboise was promoted to southern rental manager. Sam Myers joined the company as rental sales manager. Lisa Raffignone was named marketing manager. Joining the company as human resources manager was Connie Sartain.

JCB Inc., Savannah, Ga., appointed three new vice-presidents. Bob Wright, former senior vice president of sales for Volvo Trucks North America, joined JCB as vice president of sales. Gordon Henderson was appointed JCB vice president/southeast region, with responsibility for business development in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Alabama. He most recently served as sales director of JCB U.K.

Arjun Mirdha has been named vice president of dealer development and will focus on growing JCB's dealer network. Mirdha is a seven-year JCB veteran who has worked in North America and Europe.

Larry Broadley joined the organization as remarketing manager. He will be responsible for remarketing JCB used equipment through the North American JCB dealer network. He will also direct JCB e.zone, the Internet online equipment guide that provides JCB dealers and customers with access to used construction equipment information.

Construction equipment wear parts manufacturer Ballantine Inc. appointed Myron Timmer as president and general manager April 1. Timmer brings vast experience and knowledge of replacement parts manufacturing and distribution to Ballantine. He will be responsible for overseeing all facets of Ballantine's operations.

Finn Corp., Cincinnati, recently appointed Mel Love national rental manager. Marc Bowers joined the company's executive team as vice president of marketing. Mark Grady was appointed manager of the Northern California/Northern Nevada territory.

Expanding its management team to enhance overseas sales, the company appointed Ed Garrido international sales manager. Jeff Clouser was appointed to the newly created position of Northeast territory manager.

Dusty Sparks joined the Electrolux family as a sales manager for Yazoo/Kees and BlueBird. Sparks will work closely with the company's distributors and their dealer base.

Schiller-Pfeiffer Inc., manufacturers of Mantis and Little Wonder Lawn & Garden Power Equipment, hired Susan Hendricks as staff accountant. Hendricks brings more than 20 years of accounting experience to the position.

Lynne Woodworth, president and COO of Stone Construction Equipment, Honeoye, N.Y., was named to the joint managing board of the CONEXPO/CON/AGG 2005 international exposition. Woodworth was also appointed to a six-year term on the board of directors for the Ontario County Industrial Development Agency.

Stone also announced that Kim Symons was appointed district manager with responsibility for California, Arizona and Nevada. Alan Thomas was appointed district manager serving Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Oregon, along with the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

Schwing America, White Bear, Minn., appointed Dr. Frank Thiele chief operating officer. Thiele will be responsible for engineering logistics, manufacturing and purchasing for the company's line of equipment.

Gary Hanson was recently appointed regional sales manager for the Western United States for Garner, Iowa-based Stellar Industries. He will service the Western U.S. and Canadian territories with sales of the Stellar Shuttle hooklift loaders, mechanic cranes and utility bodies, as well as developing and maintaining a distributor network for the above mentioned products.

Venoy Sanders joined Suttner America Co., Dubuque, Iowa, as an account executive. His responsibilities include working with manufacturers and wholesalers supplying Suttner pressure washer components and accessories.

Plymouth, Minn.-based Cimline Inc., a manufacturer of pavement maintenance equipment and accessories, appointed Steve Johnson as the new national sales manager.

Jim Gabrielson was promoted to deputy general manager of sales and marketing at RedMax, Komatsu Zenoah America. In his new position, Gabrielson is involved in the strategic sales and marketing planning process, and management of the company's field sales force, as well as managing the company's direct distributing units in Norcross, Ga., and Denton, Texas.

Mamoru (Tommy) Tanaka was promoted to manager of marketing, product planning and public relations for the Norcross, Ga.-based company.
