Infor, a business application software provider, this weeksaid that Zahid Tractor & Heavy Machinery, the Saudi Arabian Caterpillar dealer as well as a dealer for Volvo and Renault trucks, will be the first Zahid Group company to implement Infor M3 for Equipment. There will be a two-year rollout process.
Zahid also operates Cat Rental Store facilities.
Infor M3 consists of applications such as supply chain execution, warehouse mobility, sales management and financial accounting. Infor said the software will help Zahid support the smooth flow of information and streamline business processes across 40 sites across Saudi Arabia including divisions for construction machinery, commercial vehicles, machine and power rental and Cat Rental Stores. Infor offers specialized applications for equipment, service, management and rental.
“We found in the M3, Infor and Accentia combination a best fit for a heavy equipment dealer and power rental company like ours,” said Joseph Hrawi, director ERP for the Zahid Group. “We were looking for a completely integrated system capable of helping us with our ambitious growth plans and we believe we’ve found it.”
