GS-3232 Scissor Lift
The Genie GS-3232 scissorlift lifts up to 500 pounds (227 kilograms) to 38 feet (11.58 meters). Just 7 feet, 11 inches (2.41 meters) long and 2 feet, 8 inches (0.81 meters) wide stowed, the GS-3232 fits through standard doorways. The GS-3232 is ideal to use in buildings with tall ceilings, sloped floors and single door access such as churches, movie theaters and paper mills. With dual front-wheel drive and zero inside turn radius, the GS-3232 easily maneuvers around restrictive work environments. A 3-foot (0.91-meter) extension deck allows workers and tools to utilize the maximum amount of platform workspace. The GS-3232 has a travel speed of 2.2 mph (3.5 km/h) and is able to handle a 25 percent grade to get where it is needed most. The GS-3232 comes standard with Genie’s automatic leveling hydraulic outrigger system, leveling on slopes of up to 5 degress side-to-side and 3 degrees front-to-back.
GTH-1056 Telehandler
Whether it is needed to lift or set materials around a worksite, the Genie GTH-1056 telehandler is an ideal machine for moving heavy loads with a maximum lift capacity up to 10,000 pounds (4,536 kilograms). The GTH-1056 features an outreach of 40 feet (12.19 meters) and lifts 4,000 pounds (1,814 kilograms) to 56 feet (17.07 meters). With an outside turning radius of just under 14 feet (4.2 meters) and three different steering modes — crab, coordinated and front wheel — Genie offers the choice of a turbo-charged, 4-cylinder Perkins or John Deere diesel engine, as well as features standard 4-wheel drive for easy maneuverability around tight job sites. With twin axle-mounted stabilizers, as well as a frame-leveling chassis, operators can make side-to-side adjustments on up to 10-degree side slopes. Terrainability is also enhanced with a 20.5-inch (0.52-meter) break-over ground clearance, which allows operators to precisely position the machine.
Z-40/23N Articulated Boom
Ideal for “up, out and over” applications, the Genie Z-40/23N articulated boom offers contractors a narrow profile of 4 feet, 11 inches (1.5 meters) wide to easily fit through standard-sized double doors. With a tight turning radius, just 2 feet, 11 inches (0.61 meters), it can easily maneuver through tight passageways and congested work areas. The Z-40/23N features a maximum clearance of 21 feet, 3 inches (6.48 meters); a maximum working height of 46 feet, 5 inches (14.32 meters); and a maximum horizontal reach of 22 feet, 8 inches (6.91 meters). The boom features a true multi-function control system that allows operation of several machine functions at once — from raise, lower and rotate to extend, steer and drive. It also features Genie’s new AC drive system, combining DC batteries with 3-phase AC drive motors for quiet, energy-efficient operation and continuous control of drive speed [from 0 to 4.5 mph (7.2 km/h)], braking and turning.
1230ES Mast Platform
The JLG 1230ES elevating mast platform is a preferred choice of rental companies because of its energy efficiency. The duty cycle is up to 300 percent longer than any competitor’s model. Energy-saving electric motors on the front wheels power the 1,740- pound machine at a top speed of 3 mph. The JLG 1230ES features a 500-pound platform capacity and built-in workstation, including a tool and fastener tray and 110V AC outlet. The hydraulic powered platform can lift to its maximum height of 12 feet or fully lower in just 12 seconds. Because of the machine’s narrow overall dimensions and 5-inch inside turning radius, it can negotiate narrow passages and fit into most freight elevators. The steel three-section mast lacks chains, cables or rollers, making it maintenance free. And because it has only four hydraulic connections, the chance of hydraulic fluid leaks is minimal.
