Sullair, an industry leader in innovative compressed air solutions since 1965, is showing its expanded Perkins-powered portable diesel air compressor line at the ARA Show 2020. Sullair now offers a comprehensive line of Tier 4 Final Perkins-powered ‘small air’ machines, including the 185, 375H, 400HH and 425H. The machines were designed with reliability, durability and performance in mind -- the three pillars driving the quality of all Sullair compressors since the company’s founding.

“Since the debut of our 375H Perkins machine at the 2019 ARA Show in Anaheim, our rental customers and end-users have been eager for us to expand our Perkins offerings,” said Rus Warner, vice president of rental & infrastructure sales for the Americas. “Perkins has a reputation built on dependability and durability—coupled with a well-respected dealer support network.”

The Perkins 185 Series machine – powered by a Tier 4 Final emissions compliant Perkins 404FE22T engine – delivers 185 cfm at 100 psig. The engine is turbo-charged to handle high altitudes. The unit also features an innovative Sullair 14-series air end and improved fuel efficiency for up to 10 hours of run time.

The Sullair 375 Series Perkins family – including the 375H, 400HH and 425H machines – is powered by a Tier 4 Final compliant 1204F-E44, 4-cylinder engine rated at 122 horsepower. The 375H unit offers higher power and more versatility with the delivery of 375 cfm at 150 psig. The 400HH and 425H units deliver 400 cfm at 200 psig and 425 cfm at 150 psig, respectively.

All Perkins machines in the 375 Series family feature the legendary Sullair 16-series air end assembled in the USA and an oversized 65-gallon fuel tank providing up to 10 hours of run time at full load. Additionally, front and rear swing doors with slam latches offer easy access to key components including the cooler, fluids, air filters, engine filters and the battery.

All Perkins-powered units include the same durability, simple serviceability and maneuverability customers have come to expect from Sullair. Their compact design makes it easier to tow to and from the job site and store in the equipment yard.
