Sakai America, the North American arm of the largest producer of ride-on compaction equipment in the world, has contracted with SmartEquip to deploy e-CommercePro, SmartEquip’s online parts ordering and product support system.
“e-CommercoPro will help us to grow our North American marketshare by extending the most up-to-date support and electronic ordering solution for all of our dealers and customers,” said Dave Brown, vice president, sales and marketing, Sakai America.
e-CommercePro is a single-source provider of manufacturer service documentation and electronic commerce transactions, delivering continually updated product information to customers, including intelligent schematics, pricing, diagnostics, service manuals and equipment specifications. e-CommercePro includes a secure pipeline for streamlined order placement.
Sakai America will launch e-CommercePro commercially in the first quarter of 2005.
