Strongco Sells Prairie Operations

Strongco Inc. last week completed the sale of its equipment operations in Manitoba and rental operations in Saskatchewan to Westcon Equipment & Rentals.

According to Larry Pirnak, Strongco president, the deal was for less than $10 million Canadian. Strongco has not been successful in the two prairie provinces in recent years.

Strongco will continue to operate in the Maritimes, Quebec, Ontario and Alberta.

Mississauga, Ontario-based Strongco is No. 96 on the RER 100.
