Ritchie Bros. Has Big Week

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers last week held two large multi-day auctions — in Fort Worth, Texas, and Moerdijk, the Netherlands. Total gross auction sales for both unreserved auctions topped $70 million.

“The market for used equipment is pretty hot right now,” said David Hobbs, divisional manager, South Central. “We had over 3,000 bidders turn out for our three-day sale. We had a tremendous transportation day on the final day of the sale, but every category did well.”

Bidders from 61 countries attended the Netherlands auction.
