Sinoboom formally launched its new Mexican manufacturing project, with a groundbreaking ceremony August 7 in Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico.
The factory will cover a total area of 186,667 square meters, and has been designed for intelligent manufacturing from the start, featuring automated equipment for processes such as welding, painting and assembly, and smart monitoring systems to enable streamlined production with consistent high quality. Equipment that will be produced at the facility includes slab and rough-terrain scissor lifts, articulating and telescopic boom lifts, telehandlers, vertical mast lifts and other products from the Sinoboom range. It is estimated that, by 2028, the annual output will reach 20,000 units.
In line with Sinoboom’s principles, the factory has been designed to have a low environmental impact, with measures including minimized emissions from processes such as coating, where recyclable VOC-free powders are used.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by local government representatives, management from the industrial park, distribution partners and customers, contractors, and Sinoboom’s Mexico team. The event featured speeches from Carlos García Villaseñor, the mayor of Silao; Ramón Alfaro Gómez, secretary general of the Ministry of Economy of the state of Guanajuato; and Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, the governor of Guanajuato, in which they warmly welcomed Sinoboom and looked forward to future cooperation.
Green Xu, Sinoboom director, said: “Over the past few years, the world has faced unprecedented challenges. The global pandemic, inflation pressures, and market fluctuations have tested us all. Despite these difficulties, Sinoboom has remained resilient, thanks to our superior products and strong market position.
