    Herc Rentals Acquires Chicago Aerial Rental Company SkyKing; Finalizes Toronto Acquisition

    Herc Holdings, the parent company of Herc Rentals, is continuing its ongoing string of acquisitions with the purchase of SkyKing Lift Rentals, a single-location equipment rental business specializing in mobile elevating work platforms.

    Herc Holdings, the parent company of Herc Rentals, is continuing its ongoing string of acquisitions with the purchase of SkyKing Lift Rentals, a single-location equipment rental business specializing in mobile elevating work platforms, including scissor and boom lifts. The addition of SkyKing expands Herc Rentals' Chicago-area presence to six physical locations.

    SkyKing is based in Bensenville, Ill., located near O’Hare International Airport.

    Herc also announced that it has finalized its recently announced acquisition of Rapid Equipment Rental Ltd., a Toronto-based full-service general equipment rental company with 110 employees and seven locations. Rapid serves construction and industrial customers throughout the Greater Toronto Area one of the largest equipment rental markets in North America.

    Headquartered in Bonita Springs, Fla., Herc Rentals is No. 3 on the RER 100.
