The Colorado Contractors Association recently awarded Worldwide Rental Services its Associate Member Safety Award for 2011. The award was presented to WRS for its outstanding 2011 safety record and ongoing commitment to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
In 2011, WRS employees worked more than 170,000 hours with a zero reportable rate and no lost-time accidents. Safety Committee members and upper management located at each of seven WRS locations ensure that daily safety inspections are completed and that each location is 100-percent compliant with all OSHA and MSHA training requirements.
Based in Aurora, Colo., WRS is No. 44 on the new RER 100.
