United Scaffolding Inc., an operating company of Xserv Inc., recently opened branches in Tucker, Ga., near Atlanta, and Birmingham, Ala. Major clients served by these facilities include 3M, Emory University, GE Power Systems, International Paper, and NASA. United Scaffolding has additional roots in Atlanta having played a prominent role in constructing facilities for the Olympic Games in 1996.


Greg Parker will serve as Tucker branch manager, and Dale Wilson will manage Birmingham. Parker, with 26 years of scaffolding experience, is the developer of hands-free controls of the SkyClimber used in engineering projects, and MKD Boiler Stage, a modular staging platform used for boiler-work inspections. Wilson, a veteran of 30 years in the scaffolding industry, is also a degreed machinist who has contributed to the manufacturing process satellite components for the aerospace industry as well as specialty scaffolding parts.


United Scaffolding offers turnkey services by providing equipment; sales and rentals; scaffold erection and dismantlement; engineering and CAD design; maintenance and turnaround; and jobsite tracking and safety training programs to the petrochemical, refining, offshore, power generation and other industries. Based in Houston, the company is No. 77 on the RER 100.
