JLG Industries, an Oshkosh Corp. company and leading manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers, said this week that the largest Caterpillar dealer in Mexico, MADISA, will bring JLG aerial work platforms to its territory.

The JLG product launch with MADISA, which has 45 branches in Mexico, will begin with the purchase of 800S boomlifts, 1200 SJP boomlifts, 3394 and 4394 RT scissorlifts, M600 boomlifts and 1930ES scissorlifts. The product launch marks the first time MADISA has purchased aerial work platforms higher than 60 feet.

“We decided to order these JLG products because we saw an opportunity to expand into another market and JLG will be the line that accomplishes that goal,” said MADISA product manager Ing. Leonel Martinez. “To meet our position as ‘easy to do business with,’ we wanted to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations, which, in this case, meant offering higher reaching lifts that could help our clients complete their projects in an efficient and safe manner.”

“The MADISA product launch is part of a growing campaign to bring JLG aerial products to Caterpillar dealers in Americas South,” said Maye Houck, global marketing communications manager JLG Industries Caterpillar Alliance Group. “And of course, we are looking forward to introducing these products to other regions as those opportunities arise.”

MADISA, which stands for Maquinaria Diesel S.A. de C.V., is based in Santa Catarina, near Monterrey, Mexico. MADISA plans to hold several customer appreciation events throughout the year to introduce JLG aerial work platforms to its clients. Information about these events is available at www.madisa.com.
