Former CIT Executive Joins SmartEquip

John Nerenberg, former chief information officer at CIT Commercial Finance, has joined SmartEquip as chief information officer and senior vice president of development and will lead the company's software engineering and IT efforts. He is the latest senior executive recruited by the company to join its leadership team. His appointment follows the recent additions of Jed Kalkstein as chief financial officer and Randy Amerine as senior vice president of sales and marketing.

John Nerenberg, former chief information officer at CIT Commercial Finance, has joined SmartEquip as chief information officer and senior vice president of development and will lead the company's software engineering and IT efforts. He is the latest senior executive recruited by the company to join its leadership team. His appointment follows the recent additions of Jed Kalkstein as chief financial officer and Randy Amerine as senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Nerenberg was employed by CIT for nine years, prior to which he held software development posts in numerous companies, including the Hughes Aircraft Company. He holds degrees from Drexel and George Washington University, as well as an MBA from the Columbia Business School.
