Chicago Pneumatic Compressors and Pneumatech have jointly named industry veteran Ellen Steck president of both organizations.
Steck spent more than a decade in executive roles with parent company Atlas Copco. She served as vice president of marketing for Prime and RSC Equipment Rental, then wholly owned subsidiaries of the Atlas Copco Group, leading RSC’s marketing and e-business efforts for North America’s second largest rental company.
Steck most recently served as vice president, communications and branding – compressor technique for Atlas Copco, based in its Antwerp, Belgium office, where she was responsible for driving customer loyalty in more than 60 countries and creating communication structures across 23 brands in more than 170 markets.
Steck will be based in Chicago Pneumatic’s Rock Hill, S.C., office, where she will be responsible for developing both company’s customer service and product offerings across the North American compressor and quality air markets.
Chicago Pneumatic Compressors produces a range of compressed air solutions including the RCP piston and QRS rotary screw compressors, air-drying solutions and quality air accessories. Pneumatech is a manufacturer in the compressed air system engineering market. Both companies have production facilities in the United States.
