Alert Launches 11 New Products at 2012 User Conference

Alert Management Systems, a supplier of Windows-based rental management software, recently concluded its IAUA User Group Conference, where attendees were able to vote on new features and improvements for the next annual revision of Alert EasyPro. Representatives from more than 100 stores were on hand at the Colorado Springs, Colo., conference to participate in scheduled activities, including roundtable sessions, training classes and other hands-on opportunities.

In addition to three Advisory Council meetings, organized by market type — party, general tool and heavy equipment — attendees also got a preview of Alert’s latest revision, V15, which is scheduled for release in March 2013, and 11 new optional software products that are ready for beta testing or have been released since last year's conference. New options include a suite of mobility products, including Mobile Inventory Manager and Sign & Rent, which provide paperless solutions for inventory control and signature capture.

New features for kits and for specialized rate management introduce a new level of pricing agility for companies who need to maximize their competitiveness throughout their product lines.

The company also showcased its new next generation system for dispatch management. The Dispatcher Dashboard was developed as an innovative and intuitive approach to delivery and contract management, maximizing the use of features like drag and drop, and graphical pictures and symbols to make it easy to assign routes, contracts, and staff to the truck fleet. An optional component, dispatch to GPS, sends routes to truck-based GPS equipment and enables two-way communication and progress reporting.
