Wacker Neuson

Wacker Neuson's newest walk-behind saws are compact and lightweight units designed to offer cutting performance, maximum cutting speed, smooth operation and maneuverability. Two new models, the BFS 614B and BFS 614AB, bridge the gap between a hand-held cut-off saw and a larger walk-behind saw. The BFS 614 models come with a 14-inch blade diameter and maximum cutting depth of 4.9 inches. The BFS 614B is equipped with a 6-hp Wacker Neuson 4-cycle engine. The BFS 614AB is powered by a 5.5-hp Honda engine with a cyclonic filter. Both units are suited for small cuts in asphalt and concrete for patching and repair jobs, and applications such as installing electric fencing and lighting.

General Equipment Co.

General Equipment Co. introduces its FCS10 Rip-R Stripper to its line of floor-covering strippers. This electric-powered model provides a compact, lightweight alternative to larger walk-behind units. It accommodates cutting blades up to 10 inches wide, and is suitable for applications including carpet removal, vinyl composition tile, linoleum and mastics. The FCS10 has an operating weight of 40 pounds for ease of transport.

Ditch Witch

Ditch Witch releases its RT80, a utility-based, fully hydrostatic trencher with a compact footprint and an 83 gross hp turbocharged diesel engine. The combination of compact size, narrow wheelbase and power gives the RT80 the capability to dig trenches in tight spaces that larger trenchers cannot reach. The RT80 has a top speed of 9.9 mph and offers four combinations of torque and speed. It also comes standard with cruise control to help reduce operator fatigue.

Jenny Products

Jenny Products introduces two compressor/generator combination models for a variety of industrial, construction and do-it-yourself applications. The K11HGA-17P-3000W (pictured) features Jenny's “K” pump, a heavy-duty, single-stage cast-iron compressor pump. The unit is powered by an 11-hp Honda GX series OHV engine with electric start and produces 8.9 cfm @ 100 psi, or 8.6 cfm @ 125 psi for quick recovery. Featuring a “G” pump and a 13-hp, electric-start Honda GX engine, the G13HGA-17P-3000W delivers 16.2 cfm @ 100 psi or 15.6 cfm @ 125 psi.

Ryan redesigns the JR sod cutter with a new ergonomic spring-support control system featuring vibration isolators that significantly reduce vibration felt by the operator. Other features include a new cut-depth indicator, adjustable belt guide and pneumatic rear caster wheel to easily cut curved landscape beds out and further absorb vibration. The rear caster wheel also locks into place for straight cuts and across slopes. Haulotte Group/BilJax will show its 45XA lightweight, articulating, self-propelled X-Boom boomlift that has a 51-foot working height and 27 feet of maximum outreach. The 45XA matches industry standards with 45 percent gradeability, 3.5 mph drive speed and four-wheel-drive capabilities. Hydraulic outriggers on the X-Boom family have replaced the heavy counterweights found on conventional self-propelled machine for use on pressure-sensitive grounds such as golf courses and landscapes.
