Wacker Neuson

Wacker Neuson's newest walk-behind saws are compact and lightweight units designed to offer cutting performance, maximum cutting speed, smooth operation and maneuverability. Two new models, the BFS 614B and BFS 614AB, bridge the gap between a hand-held cut-off saw and a larger walk-behind saw. The BFS 614 models come with a 14-inch blade diameter and maximum cutting depth of 4.9 inches. The BFS 614B is equipped with a 6-hp Wacker Neuson 4-cycle engine. The BFS 614AB is powered by a 5.5-hp Honda engine with a cyclonic filter. Both units are suited for small cuts in asphalt and concrete for patching and repair jobs, and applications such as installing electric fencing and lighting.

General Equipment Co.

General Equipment Co. introduces its FCS10 Rip-R Stripper to its line of floor-covering strippers. This electric-powered model provides a compact, lightweight alternative to larger walk-behind units. It accommodates cutting blades up to 10 inches wide, and is suitable for applications including carpet removal, vinyl composition tile, linoleum and mastics. The FCS10 has an operating weight of 40 pounds for ease of transport.

Ditch Witch

Ditch Witch releases its RT80, a utility-based, fully hydrostatic trencher with a compact footprint and an 83 gross hp turbocharged diesel engine. The combination of compact size, narrow wheelbase and power gives the RT80 the capability to dig trenches in tight spaces that larger trenchers cannot reach. The RT80 has a top speed of 9.9 mph and offers four combinations of torque and speed. It also comes standard with cruise control to help reduce operator fatigue.

Jenny Products

Jenny Products introduces two compressor/generator combination models for a variety of industrial, construction and do-it-yourself applications. The K11HGA-17P-3000W (pictured) features Jenny's “K” pump, a heavy-duty, single-stage cast-iron compressor pump. The unit is powered by an 11-hp Honda GX series OHV engine with electric start and produces 8.9 cfm @ 100 psi, or 8.6 cfm @ 125 psi for quick recovery. Featuring a “G” pump and a 13-hp, electric-start Honda GX engine, the G13HGA-17P-3000W delivers 16.2 cfm @ 100 psi or 15.6 cfm @ 125 psi.

Terex AWP introduces the new Genie QuickStock lift designed to make inventory picking faster, easier and safer than rolling stairs or manually propelled lifts. An expansion of the Genie Runabout product line, the QuickStock lift is both compact and easy to maneuver. Ryan redesigns the JR sod cutter with a new ergonomic spring-support control system featuring vibration isolators that significantly reduce vibration felt by the operator. Other features include a new cut-depth indicator, adjustable belt guide and pneumatic rear caster wheel to easily cut curved landscape beds out and further absorb vibration. The rear caster wheel also locks into place for straight cuts and across slopes. The JR sod cutter is available with either a 5.5-hp Honda or 6-hp Briggs & Stratton engines, and in either 12- or 18-inch cutting widths.

Snorkel unveils its SX Series, a new family of electric slab scissors that will replace both the current Snorkel S series slab scissors and the UpRight MX and X series currently sold in Europe. The new 19-, 26- and 32-foot scissors combine the best attributes of the existing Snorkel and UpRight slab scissor ranges.

Honda's FRC800 rear-tine tiller features easy tilling operation through simple controls with one-step tine and drive engagement, making it a good option for first-time rental users. A front bumper guard and a heavy-duty transmission, debris shield and controls enhance durability for rental and commercial applications. Powered by a GX Series 4-stroke engine designed to be quiet, easy to start and more fuel-efficient than comparably sized 2-stroke designs, it offers virtually smoke-free operation with ultra-low emissions. MK Diamond introduces the CX3 14-inch walk-behind concrete saw with the new 7-hp Kohler CH270 horizontal shaft Command PRO engine. The Command PRO's patented Quad-Clean technology features a four-stage air-cleaning system designed to keep the engine free from debris, minimizing maintenance and cleaning efforts. In addition, the air cleaner doubles as a warm air intake system for optimal operation in colder conditions. With one turn of the air cleaner on the Command PRO, the engine is able to recycle the heat from the muffler within 15 seconds and without requiring any tools or kits to buy. The wet or dry cutting CX3 Kohler is built with an all-aluminum frame construction that makes it lightweight and portable.

The Case 650L crawler dozer delivers 74 net hp through a Tier-3-certified, 4-cylinder, 4.5-liter turbocharged Case Family IV engine with electronic fuel injection for maximum fuel efficiency and easier starts in cold weather. A high-pressure common-rail injection system delivers combustion, and a charge air cooler reduces emissions and provides a cleaner and more fuel efficient fuel burn.

Toro introduces its TRX-26 dedicated walk-behind trencher, which features a 26-hp Kawasaki engine. The TRX-26 is designed for utility workers, irrigation contractors and plumbers. Operator-friendly controls make the TRX models productive and easy to learn and operate. The TRX-26 features zero-turn capabilities and ground pressure as low as 4.1 psi, giving it the ability to access confined spaces without damaging existing turf. The TRX-26 can be outfitted with Toro's 2-, 3- or 4-foot boom attachments, allowing it to trench up to 8 inches wide and up to 48 inches deep.

Haulotte Group/BilJax

Haulotte Group/BilJax will show its 45XA lightweight, articulating, self-propelled X-Boom boomlift that has a 51-foot working height and 27 feet of maximum outreach. The 45XA matches industry standards with 45 percent gradeability, 3.5 mph drive speed and four-wheel-drive capabilities. Hydraulic outriggers on the X-Boom family have replaced the heavy counterweights found on conventional self-propelled machine for use on pressure-sensitive grounds such as golf courses and landscapes. All X-Booms allow for set-up and use in less than 30 seconds.
