Volvo’s SD25 soil compactor is designed for commercial and residential site development, roads, streets, driveways, small parking lots and landscaping jobs. The smooth and padfoot drum models have 43-hp Tier 4-certified Kubota engines. A 2.6-ton soil compactor is designed for granular soils, mixed soils and aggregates. The unit has an operating weight of 5,650 pounds with a drum diameter of 31 inches and drum width of 42 inches. The drum weight is 2,850 pounds and a centrifugal force of 14,020 pounds.
