The Develon DX17Z-7 is a 16-horsepower mini excavator designed for rental fleets to serve contractors working in tight spaces. Weighing around 4,200 pounds, it is the smallest in the Develon lineup. The machine's retractable undercarriage and collapsible dozer blade allow it to navigate narrow areas and provide stability on slopes. With a 48-inch track width, it can fit between homes or operate close to existing structures.

The zero tail swing design makes it easy to maneuver in urban or confined job sites without sacrificing performance. The excavator is "thumb-ready" and "quick-coupler-ready," allowing contractors to quickly connect attachments like augers and breakers. For rental companies, the machine comes with the My Develon telematics system, which tracks its location, health, and productivity. The DX17Z-7 is backed by a 36-month or 5,000-hour full-coverage warranty.
