The 102-hp TW110 wheeled excavator has an operating weight of 24,229 pounds, a maximum digging depth of 14 feet, 2 inches, a maximum reach of 27 feet, 3 inches and bucket capacities of 5.26 to 16.85 cubic feet.
“The biggest advantage of the wheeled excavator is its ability to move freely around and in between jobsites without the use of a trailer,” says Jamie Wright, Terex product manager. “This saves on time loading and unloading for the customer and provides better utilization of their time. From a rental perspective, this gives the wheeled excavator far more versatility for a contractor working in developed areas where space is tight and getting a larger tracked machine just doesn’t make sense.”
Both Terex wheeled excavator models are designed around the operator. With the Terex Fingertip Control, the electric proportional control functions via a roller on the joystick. The short routes on the joystick result in higher precision and operator comfort when working. The dual-circuit hydraulics system with load-independent flow distribution allows all functions to be controlled simultaneously and independently of each other. The new Terex Smart Control operating system features a new menu guide with the appearance of current smartphones.
