The Kobelco Tier 4i SK485 Mark 9 excavator delivers up to 15-percent fuel efficiency with a new Economy power mode, and features an upgrade to Kobelco’s intelligent hydraulics. The unit features an operating weight of 111,774 pounds and a dig depth of 25 feet, 7.5 inches. The larger, isolation-mounted cab features standard ROPS and FOPS protection, repositioned controls, moveable front and door windows and more glass to improve side visibility. A new control monitor provides key operating data, including a new function that graphs fuel consumption per hour, and a rear camera view to improve the operator’s view of the back of the machine.
