As side-by-sides continue to get bigger, faster and more capable, the demands on their tires have grown just as quickly.

Titan International believes it has an answer.

The company has introduced the ITP Kinetic, a new all-terrain UTV tire built specifically for today's heavier, more powerful utility terrain vehicles. Manufactured at ITP's facility in Clinton, Tennessee, the tire is designed to tackle everything from rocky trails and loose dirt to hard-packed roads without forcing riders to choose between traction, comfort and durability.

Whether the day involves trail riding, hauling gear or working around a property, the goal is simple: one tire that can do it all.

"UTV owners today are pushing their machines further than ever," said Todd Hinson, powersports product manager at Titan International. "The new Kinetic tire line was engineered to keep up with users that push their machine's limits and utilize their UTVs in many versatile and challenging tasks and applications, giving our customers one tire for their ever-changing needs."

Built for changing terrain

The Kinetic tire's tread pattern is designed to adapt to a variety of surfaces. An open, aggressive tread helps maintain traction in loose dirt, ruts and rocky conditions while still delivering a smooth ride on firmer ground.

Titan also incorporated several features intended to improve confidence behind the wheel. Strategic siping allows the tread blocks to flex for better grip on slick or uneven surfaces, while dimpled tread elements are designed to improve steering response and overall stability.

For riders who regularly venture into rough terrain, durability was another major focus. The Kinetic uses an 8-ply radial construction for added puncture resistance, reinforced sidewalls to guard against cuts and scrapes, and an integrated rim guard that helps protect wheels from rocks and trail debris.

Designed to last

Rather than creating a tire aimed at one specific riding style, Titan says it wanted the Kinetic to be versatile enough for both recreational riders and those who rely on their UTVs for demanding jobs.

"This tire does just about everything riders could ask for," said Rhett Turpin, Titan's director of sales for powersports. "It's quiet on hard surfaces, aggressive on rough terrain and built to last."

The Kinetic is currently available in five of the most popular UTV tire sizes through dealers nationwide.

For Titan, the launch also expands its lineup of products manufactured in the U.S. The tires are produced at the company's Clinton, Tennessee, facility, reinforcing its investment in domestic manufacturing while giving riders another American-made option for their machines.
