The Toro Dingo TX 525 wide-track compact utility loader features a 25-hp Kubota diesel engine and has a width of 40.5 inches, allowing it to work in tight places and to pass through a 42-inch gate. The TX 525 is compatible with Toro's 35-plus compact utility loader attachments, making it suited for applications such as installing irrigation systems, preparing seedbeds, hauling and handling materials, constructing decks and fences, planting trees, demolishing structures and building ponds.

The TL120 compact track loader from Takeuchi is a turbo-powered, 52-hp machine with an operating weight of less than 6,000 pounds. An operating width of 59.5 inches and a length of 126.8 inches allows for easy transport. This model features a tipping load of 3,549 pounds, with a bucket breakout force in the bucket cylinders of 4,821 pounds and 5,042 pounds in the lift arm cylinders. Track undercarriage provides flotation for working in muddy or loose ground conditions and delivers traction.

Compact Power

The Boxer 530X mini-skid offers a 30-hp Kohler engine and a two-pump 3,000-psi, 14.5-gpm hydraulic system to drive the machine's auxiliary and propulsion systems. An integrated track system retracts from a fully extended 43.5 inches to a width of 35 inches. The variable track design allows the operator to maneuver the 530X through tight areas, such as gates and sidewalks. The 9-inch-wide tracks also provide 3.3 psi of ground pressure to reduce damage to existing lawns or landscapes.

Bobcat introduces the S100 skid-steer loader, which features a 1,000-pound rated operating capacity, a spacious cab, easy-to-read instrument panel, and a transversely mounted engine in a small frame. Its narrow width of 50 inches with bucket allows operators to travel through backyard gates in residential areas, access the inside of buildings for interior demolition and work between buildings and other tight quarters on construction sites. The S100 features a four-cylinder, 33.5-hp diesel engine and a lift height of 8 feet, 6 inches for loading and dumping debris and materials.

John Deere

The John Deere 17D compact excavator features enhancements including adjustable-width tracks and a backfill blade with foldable end sections. When the tracks are retracted and the blades' end sections folded, the machine fits through a 40-inch opening. When fully extended to over 50 inches, the undercarriage provides maximum stability for operation. The 17D also features 20-percent more hp, 8-percent more arm force and 19-percent more bucket dig force. The new long-arm/heavy counterweight option provides an additional 8 inches of digging depth and reach.

The Allmand TLB-325 heavy-duty compact-tractor-loader backhoe is powered by either a Kohler or a Subaru 25-hp gasoline engine. Ditch Witch

The Ditch Witch SK650 skid steer comes equipped with a 31-hp Kubota turbo diesel engine. Quick-disconnect attachment fittings enable attachments to be changed with the hydraulic system under pressure. The SK650 is also equipped with a foot pedal auxiliary control that allows the operator to drive the attachment by foot, freeing up his hands to control depth and ground speed. An attachment-level indicator is mounted to the attachment lift frame, allowing the operator to see from the operator's station if the attachment is level.

Star Industries

The Scoop-N-Mix skid-steer concrete mixer from Star Industries provides a fast and economical way to produce small volumes of concrete. This skid-steer attachment combines the advantages of a loader and a concrete mixer. Using skid-steer tilt cylinders, the mixer can rotate into a bucket-loading position to scoop up the sand and gravel, and then tilt the mixer back to its upright position to add water and cement. The skid steer can easily transport the concrete to the pour area.

The B26 TLB is three machines in one and also offers a skid-steer-type quick coupler for convenient attachment of a variety of implements. The 26-hp Kubota diesel engine increases power by 23 percent while offering a combination of high torque rise, low noise and vibration, and cleaner emissions.

Gehl introduces the RS5-19 telescopic handler, which is designed with a compact frame and a tight turning radius of 11 feet. The compact size of the machine allows an operator to easily transport the unit to the worksite on a trailer behind a one-ton truck. The frame of the telehandler — with a length of 148 inches, width of 71 inches and height of 76 inches — makes the machine suited for tight jobsites. A 64-hp Deutz diesel engine powers the 519, which boasts a two-speed hydraulic transmission for low-end power while providing a quick transport speed up to 15 mph.
