Honnen Equipment, one of the largest construction equipment dealerships in the western United States, broke ground on a new facility in Cheyenne, Wyo. With more than 13,000 square feet of space for parts and in-shop service, the building will be set on a five-acre site to include plenty of equipment for customer rental and sales.

The pull-through service bays and indoor wash bay will allow Honnen technicians to service heavy equipment quickly and efficiently. The parts warehouse in this new building can accommodate all the OEM parts needed for John Deere construction and compact equipment, Hitachi excavators, Wirtgen group road building equipment and Manitowoc group lifting equipment.

“All of us at Honnen are very excited about the additional parts and service capabilities this facility will allow us to provide our customers,” said Mark Honnen, president of Honnen Equipment. “Cheyenne has a strong, diverse economy, a skilled and educated labor force and overall is a great place to live and work. We have operated in the Rocky Mountain region for over 50 years so adding this new location further demonstrates our commitment to the construction industry, especially to our customers and our employees in the Cheyenne market!”

Honnen’s Cheyenne location is scheduled to open in Fall 2019.
