ALLU has introduced the Concrete Bucket, a new excavator attachment that crushes and screens demolition concrete directly at the jobsite. Designed for 25- to 45-ton excavators, the attachment helps crews turn demolished concrete into reusable aggregate using the same machine already on site.
Instead of transporting debris to an off-site crusher or bringing in additional equipment, contractors can process material where it's created. That can reduce truck traffic, simplify logistics and keep demolition projects moving, especially on crowded urban jobsites.
Built for demolition work
The Concrete Bucket handles pulverized concrete, reinforced concrete, brick, asphalt and other demolition debris. It accepts material up to 11 inches in size and produces finished aggregate in two different sizes, depending on the blade configuration.
Under the right conditions, the attachment can process up to 100 tons of material per hour.
The design also helps separate reinforcing steel and rebar as material moves through the bucket, helping operators keep processing without frequent interruptions.
A different approach to crushing
Rather than using a traditional jaw crusher, the attachment relies on rotating drums fitted with replaceable carbide picks and counter blades to continuously crush and screen material.
The design is intended to create a steady flow of reusable aggregate that can be used for backfill, road construction and other civil engineering projects.
Replaceable wear parts can also be serviced on the jobsite, helping reduce downtime.
ALLU said contractors who tested the attachment in the field reported strong production rates and reliable performance during demolition work.
