Milwaukee Tool introduces the new M18 Fuel rebar cutter and #10 rebar cutting blade. Engineered for reinforcing ironworkers and general contractors, Milwaukee’s new rebar cutter and rebar cutting blade is designed for faster cutting and fewer sparks than abrasive wheel alternatives, the company said. This solution delivers clean cuts with durability and cold-cutting capability, redefining steel rod cutting with efficiency.

The M18 Fuel rebar cutter delivers 2-second cuts in #5 rebar. Equipped with a Powerstate brushless motor generating 2,000 RPM, this rebar cutter provides the power to cut through #10 rebar (1 ¼-inches). Rapidstop braking consists of stop times faster than one second. The motor ensures consistent speed, improving workflow and optimizing jobsite productivity, the maker says.

The cutter incorporates Redlink Plus Intelligence, which enhances communication between the RedLithium battery (sold separately) and motor, maintaining peak efficiency, protection, and compatibility. Delivering up to 240 cuts on a full charge high output XC 6.0 battery in #5 rebar, this solution is designed to maximize output. Built-in overload protection further extends motor life.

Milwaukee is also launching its #10 (1 ¼-inch) rebar cutting blade, compatible with the M18 Fuel rebar cutter. The blade cuts up to #10 rebar, threaded rod, and black iron pipe. Cermet-tipped carbide teeth provide increased durability and cold cuts for fewer sparks.

The new rebar cutter features an adjustable three-position anti-vibration side handle to reduce strain during extended use. The integrated cut-brake system engages an automatic blade stop when enabled, protecting sensitive materials near the cut. On-board hex wrench storage ensures quick and easy blade changes, while an integrated tether attachment and LED work light enhance security and visibility in low-light environments.
