MCS Rental Software has launched its MCS AI Customer Summary, a new feature that analyzes up to 24 months of customer data and transforms it into a clear, actionable overview. The tool highlights key trends and flags increases or decreases in activity, helping rental businesses make faster, more informed account management decisions.

Built to support teams in their day-to-day operations, the Customer Summary delivers concise insights across key metrics, including rental performance, recent interactions, outstanding invoices, and service levels. By adding simple instructions at the outset, users can tailor each summary to focus on what matters most — demonstrating the flexibility of the tool across different roles and use cases.

“This innovation is about turning data into decisions,” said Chris Clarke, chief technology officer. “The Customer Summary gives rental businesses a clearer, faster understanding of their customer relationships, helping them respond proactively, improve service, and strengthen customer loyalty.”

The feature integrates across MCS solutions and offers:

Time savings: Instantly access an AI-generated summary that highlights the most relevant customer insights — eliminating the need to manually sift through large volumes of data.

  • Customizable insights: Tailor summaries to focus on specific areas such as revenue, usage, or activity, so each team sees the information most relevant to their role.
  • Consistency and accuracy: Standardized summaries reduce the risk of errors and make it easier to compare customer performance across the business.

This enhancement reflects MCS Rental Software’s ongoing commitment to making complex customer data easier to understand—helping rental businesses make smarter, data-driven decisions.

“Our goal has always been to give customers clarity and confidence in their data,” said Nick Thomson, chief sales officer.

MCS Rental Software works closely with its customers to develop practical solutions that meet the real-world needs of the rental industry. MCS AI Insights builds on that approach by helping users better understand their customer data, improve day-to-day decision-making, and enhance customer engagement.
