Fame Rental, a leading supplier of ERP software solutions for the rental industry, announced a new collaboration with SmartEquip, a provider of technology for equipment lifecycle management, service, and procurement support in the construction industry.
SmartEquip’s integration into the FameAir dashboard helps reduce the challenges many rental companies face when maintaining their equipment fleets. SmartEquip’s business-to-business productivity and parts procurement platform features a single log-in that allows users to identify needed parts for equipment repairs and create purchase orders, eliminate order errors, increase efficiency, save money, and improve technician wrench time — with FameAir taking control of the approval routing process.
“Managing equipment lifecycles and ensuring uptime, tracking usage, scheduling maintenance, and optimizing inventory can be incredibly complex, confusing, and time-consuming for any rental businesses,” said Joe Lewis, CEO of Fame Rental. "When Fame customers sign up for SmartEquip and integrate FameAir into their procurement platform, they can identify and access the product support and parts information they need, including checking inventory levels and updating their purchase and work orders efficiently."
“We are excited to support Fame Rental customers with our integration partnership,” said Mike Kendall, vice president of operations at SmartEquip. “Our goal is to make equipment rental businesses more efficient, and being able to extend our platform to their customers is a win-win for everyone.”
