Fame Rental, a leading supplier of software solutions for the rental industry, recently announced a new collaboration with Avalara, a cloud-based tax compliance automation provider. Avalara’s technology is integrated into the Fame Rental business management software platform (including FameAir to offer enhanced, streamlined sales tax compliance tasks.) With a focus on saving time and reducing errors, Avalara’s cloud-based technology integrates into existing systems and automates such tasks as tax calculation, document management, tracking of legislative and jurisdictional sales tax changes, reporting, and e-invoicing.

“Monitoring, calculating, and reporting sales taxes can be mind-boggling for any sized business – especially if you rent equipment in different counties, cities, and states,” said Joe Lewis, CEO of Fame Rental. “Integrating Avalara’s market-leading cloud-based capabilities into the Fame Rental platform helps move our users toward a future where tax management is no longer a burden but a strategic business advantage.”
