MYCRANE Surpasses 1,000 Customers as India Turns to Online Crane Rentals

The crane rental platform is seeing rapid growth in India as more construction and industrial companies turn to digital tools to find heavy equipment faster and lower costs.

Key Highlights

Key Findings:

  • MYCRANE now has more than 1,000 customers and 1,000 suppliers registered in India, with over 100 paid orders completed.
  • The platform is being used by major companies including Larsen & Toubro, Tata, Adani Group, and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel.
  • MYCRANE recently expanded into crane sales, leasing, and maintenance services after a $50 million investment.

As construction activity continues to grow across India, more companies are moving away from phone calls, spreadsheets, and long quote chains to find heavy equipment online instead.

MYCRANE, a global platform that connects contractors with crane rental suppliers, says it has now passed 1,000 registered customers and 1,000 suppliers in India. The company has also completed more than 100 paid orders across the country, showing how quickly digital equipment sourcing is catching on in India’s infrastructure and industrial sectors.

India has become one of the company’s fastest-growing markets, according to MYCRANE.

The platform is now being used by several major engineering and construction companies, including Larsen & Toubro, Tata, Adani Group, KP Energy, Birla Corp, Megha Engineering, and NCC. International companies such as Linde, Technip, Thyssenkrupp, and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel are also using the platform to find cranes and heavy equipment for projects in India.

Instead of reaching out to multiple rental companies one by one, customers can post details about the equipment they need and receive quotes from crane suppliers already registered on the platform.

The company says that approach recently helped support a major infrastructure project that needed a 400-ton crawler crane. By locating equipment closer to the jobsite, the customer reportedly reduced costs by more than 20% compared to traditional sourcing methods while also lowering transportation expenses.

MYCRANE founder and CEO Andrei Geikalo said the company is seeing strong demand as more construction and industrial firms look for easier ways to find equipment.

Users of the platform say it can also simplify coordination during large projects. Mandar Khatkhate of Senvion Wind Technology Private Limited said MYCRANE recently helped the company identify a crane supplier for a maintenance project in Maharashtra and described the process as smooth and professional.

More rentals

The company is also expanding beyond rentals. After receiving a $50 million investment, MYCRANE launched MYCRANE Trading in India, adding crane sales, leasing, maintenance services, spare parts, and engineering support to its business.

The new division offers several types of lifting equipment, including:

  • Crawler cranes
  • All-terrain cranes
  • Rough-terrain cranes
  • Tower cranes

The goal is to give customers one place to handle both short-term rentals and long-term equipment needs.

MYCRANE operates globally from its headquarters in Dubai and says its platform provides access to cranes with lifting capacities of up to 4,000 tonnes. Registration is free for both customers and crane suppliers.

As infrastructure spending and industrial construction continue to grow across India, the company says it plans to keep investing in the market through platform expansion, customer growth, and additional services.
