Strata Systems last week rolled out a new interactive website, www.geogrid.com, for the geotechnical engineering community. The announcement is part of Strata’s global communications strategy for providing geotechnical engineers with the most up-to-date information and technical data on its line of geosynthetic soil reinforcement products and services.

The website features updated graphics and streamlined content for a simple-to-navigate user experience. From the landing page, registered users have wide-ranging access to product information on Strata geogrids and geotextiles including Stratagrid, Microgrid, StrataDrain, StrataTex and Sleeve-It. Additionally, technical resources, specifications, literature, industry links and the latest company news are readily available to view or download. The new website also affords expanded coverage of recent case studies featuring innovative applications of StrataSlope soil reinforcement technology from around the world.

“As we expand our product offerings and services, the internet is an essential communications tool for maintaining contact with our customers and those that seek to tap into our knowledge base on geosynthetic issues,” said David Butchart, Strata Systems vice president for sales and marketing.

Headquartered in Cumming, Ga., Strata Systems produces and distributes advanced geogrid soil reinforcement and composite geosynthetic products under the Stratagrid, Microgrid and StrataDrain brands. Additionally, the company’s newly acquired Sleeve-It product line affords designers and civil engineers a code-compliant system for integrating fencing into engineered retaining walls.
