Guardian has introduced a new HLL Stanchion Post System designed to give contractors more options for protecting workers at height.
The system raises the attachment point above the worker, helping reduce fall clearance requirements while allowing greater coverage across a jobsite. Made with aluminum and steel, the posts are built for repeated use across multiple projects.
“Our goal is to continue simplifying height safety by developing solutions that are practical for the people installing and using them every day,” said David Viele, senior product manager at Guardian.
Flexible Setups for Different Jobsites
The stanchion post is available with two or four integrated D-rings, as well as a version without D-rings. These options allow contractors to choose a setup that fits their fall protection needs.
The 102-inch post can be used in horizontal lifeline configurations spanning up to 60 feet without intermediate posts. Guardian also offers a pre-assembled cable system with an integrated turnbuckle tensioner to help simplify installation.
The system is compatible with Guardian’s HTL Rope Horizontal Lifeline System, giving contractors another option for temporary fall protection.
Multiple System Options
Guardian offers the stanchion post as a standalone component or as part of a complete kit.
The HLL Stanchion Kit pairs two four-D-ring posts with Guardian’s 60-foot Absorbinator Horizontal Lifeline System. The Retractable HLL Stanchion Kit combines two posts with a 60-foot retractable horizontal lifeline.
Both kits are designed to provide overhead fall protection while allowing workers to move around the jobsite.
The HLL Stanchion Post System is now available through Guardian’s authorized distribution network. More information is available on the Guardian website.
