Bigge Crane & Rigging Co. has received the 2025 Crane & Rigging Group Safety Award from the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA), a global organization representing more than 1,350 members across 46 countries.
This award is presented to companies that meet strict safety benchmarks, including a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of 1.25 or less, a Worker’s Compensation Modification Rate of 1.0 or less, an Incident Expenses Frequency Rate of 1.0 or less, zero fatalities during the program year, and an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 1.0 or below.
According to Bigge, safety is its No. 1 core value. With more than 1.5 million hours worked in 2024, it earned this award by achieving a TRIR of 0.48 and an EMR of 0.57. These results underscore its ongoing commitment to maintaining the safest possible environment for its employees, customers, jobsite partners, and the general public.
Each year, firms from across the U.S. and around the world submit dozens of entries for the SC&RA Awards program, which celebrates global excellence in crane, rigging, and specialized transportation.
