Crane rental repair specialist WHECO Corp. has opened a branch in Pasco, Wash., giving the company two branches in the Tri-City area that includes Washington and Kennewick, the Tri-Cities Journal of Business has reported.

Crane rental repair specialist WHECO Corp. has opened a branch in Pasco, Wash., giving the company two branches in the Tri-City area that includes Washington and Kennewick, the Tri-Cities Journal of Business has reported. WHECO has now expanded to six facilities. The company is headquartered in Richland, Wash., with branches in Auburn, Wash., near Seattle; Portland, Ore.; Santa Fe Springs, Calif., near Los Angeles; Aiken, S.C.; and Kwajalein, Marshall Islands.

WHECO president Ryan Davis told the Journal that the company started out as a crane refurbishment company that could have a crane completely remanufactured. It now repairs a wide range of components including booms, frames and cabs and also repairs mobile elevating work platforms.

The company also can fabricate individual pieces or entire components and employs a range of welders and automotive technicians at its facilities, the Journal reported. Customers include contractors, crane rental companies, distributors, insurance companies and manufacturers.
