JLG’s SkyTrak telehandlers are available in five models offering lifting capacities from 6,000 to 10,000 pounds, lifting heights to 53 feet, 2 inches, and horizontal reach to 39 feet with the outriggers down. The SkyTrak model 8042 has an 8,000-pound maximum lift capacity with a maximum lift height of 41 feet, 11 inches and an 1,800-pound maximum lift capacity at a maximum forward reach of 26 feet, 7 inches. Features include the ZF drive train, using axles with heavy-duty inboard wet brakes for longer disc and pad life, limited slip front differential and a fully modulated power shift transmission. Weatherproof controls and functions in the redesigned cab allow for greater productivity.
