The HTL 9055 from Haulotte Group/Bil-Jax offers a maximum lift height of 54 feet, 10 inches, and a maximum lift capacity of 9,000 pounds. Additional standard equipment features include 4-wheel drive and 4-wheel steer, frame leveling ±10-degrees, proportional and multi-function control of telescopic boom functions, smooth- approach movements and auxiliary hydraulic power. The unit also features seven optional and one standard quick-fit attachments that allow the machine to be used for multiple functions.

Genie

Genie announces new design enhancements to its GTH-5519 compact rough terrain telehandler, which include a comfortable cab for increased operator productivity, increased load capacity at maximum reach, engine options to meet the latest environmental emission standards and an accessible engine compartment for ease of service. The unit can lift 1,900 pounds at 11 feet of horizontal reach, 200 pounds more than the previous model. Caterpillar

The Caterpillar TH406 and TH407 (pictured) telehandlers have a rated load capacity of 8,100 pounds and are powered by the Cat C4.4 diesel engine. The turbocharged, aftercooled engine is available in a mechanically controlled configuration, which produces 100 hp, and in an electronically controlled configuration, which produces 125 hp. Each unit also has a two-section boom, delivering a 20-foot lift height on the TH406 and a 24-foot lift height on the TH407. They replace the TH220B and the TH330B in the Caterpillar line.

Case Construction Equipment

Case introduces three new telescopic handlers — the TX742, TX842 (pictured) and TX945. The TX742 comes equipped with a 95-hp engine, while the TX842 and TX945 feature a 108-hp engine. The full powershift transmission on the units feature four forward and three reverse gears, providing smooth forward-reverse shifting at any engine speed. All three machines can reach a top speed of 22 mph in forward and 14 mph in reverse for quick maneuvering across the jobsite. The TX742 and TX842 have a forward reach of 29 feet and the TX945 has a forward reach of 31 feet.

The JLG G10-43A model telehandler includes standard outriggers, a maximum capacity of 10,000 pounds and a capacity of 7,000 pounds at the maximum reach height of 43 feet. Gehl

Gehl introduces the RS10 telescopic handler, which has a rated lift capacity of 10,000 pounds and a maximum lift height of 44 feet. The boom has a welded box-section design; and the 10,000-pound operating capacity is achieved without the use of outriggers or fluid-filled tires. A rear-axle stabilizer system improves stability by locking the rear axle in position whenever the boom is raised more than 60 degrees, the parking brake is applied, or the personnel work platform safety system is activated. The RS10 is powered by a 115-hp diesel engine and is equipped with a four-speed powershift transmission, three steering modes and a quick-attach tool-mounting system.

The Bobcat V417 VersaHandler TTC is the fourth model in the VersaHandler line and the first to offer the Bob-Tach attachment mounting system. The 10,648-pound V417 TTC features a 75-hp turbocharged engine and a 72.5-inch-wide frame. The 17 feet of lift height and 4,400-pound load capacity allow the unit to lift, carry and place building materials or load and unload trucks. Manitou offers three choices in its MT Series telescopic handlers.
