Nine-month consolidated sales declined 10 percent to €376.8 million (versus re-stated sales of €420.9 million for the equivalent period in 2007.

However, Haulotte’s shares of revenue from international markets outside of Europe expanded to 19 percent of the company’s revenue. A growth of 35 percent in sales from services was not sufficient to offset the company’s 13-percent decline in equipment sales.

Haulotte declined to issue updated guidance for 2008 because of the current uncertain economic environment.
