Kubota announced that it will bring two new skid-steer loaders to its 2015 equipment line-up. The company made the announcement at its 2014 dealer meeting in Nashville.
The SSV65 and SSV75 (65 and 75 horsepower) mark the company’s first entry into the skid steer market. Both models feature an overhead front door, which allow the operator to work with the door open during nice weather and to exit the vehicle during operation to maneuver items and conduct other tasks such as cutting open bales of hay without having to first lower the load.
Other features include two-speed travel and optional high-flow hydraulics, multifunction handles for high-flow machines, and a side light feature. The machines will be available in 2015, according to the company’s product managers.
