Terex Gets $50.6 Million Navy Order for Cranes

The United States Navy last week awarded two crane orders worth up to $50.6 million to Westport, Conn.-based Terex Corp. The orders, said to include 77 cranes with accessories, warranties and logistical support, were included on two contracts — the first worth $34.2 million, and the second worth $16.4 million.

The cranes, which will be imported from the company’s manufacturing facility in Germany, will be delivered by September 2010.
