New Holland Construction last week announced that Tyson Foods, the world’s leading processor of chicken, beef and pork, selected it as the preferred supplier of compact track loaders to maintain its poultry farms across the United States.

New Holland’s Wichita, Kan.-built C185 compact track loaders were selected for their reliability, rugged design, serviceability and low operating cost. The machine’s stability, compact design and all-round visibility make it well suited to clearing and general maintenance operations in the meat processor’s chicken farms.

During the month of July, Tyson Foods organized 10 demonstrations across the United States to showcase the features and benefits of the C185 compact track loaders to its poultry farmers. The events, supported by New Holland equipment demonstrators, attracted nearly 500 visitors.

Tyson Foods is the largest processor and marketer of chicken, beef and pork, and the second-largest food production company in the Fortune 500.

Headquartered in Carol Stream, Ill., New Holland Construction manufactures and markets a full line of skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, loader backhoes, tractor loaders, excavators, wheel loaders, telehandlers, crawler dozers and motor graders.
