LiuGong Construction Machinery has named Dan Collins deputy general manager of global after sales support.

LiuGong Construction Machinery has named Dan Collins deputy general manager of global after sales support. Collins has more than 26 years experience in the equipment business. He has worked for brands such as Caterpillar, Kobelco and Case New Holland. He has worked as a parts manager, service manager, rental manager, warranty manager and vice president of operations.

“LiuGong understands that to become a market leader, the company must consistently invest in a second-to-none parts and service program to maximize equipment uptime, making LiuGong machines as profitable as possible on the jobsite,” said Collins. “The equipment business is a very competitive one and LiuGong is committed to becoming one of the top 10 equipment manufacturers in the world by 2015, not only by building excellent products, but also by offering the aftermarket sales support that is so critical to its customers.”

Collins splits his time between LiuGong’s North American headquarters in Houston and its corporate headquarters in Liuzhou, China.

LiuGong also added Weley Brubaker to its service department staff, as a product support representative. Brubaker will help LiuGong dealers diagnose and repair LiuGong products from his home office in Anniston, Ala.
