Hyundai Construction Opens Norcross Headquarters

Hyundai Construction Equipment America last week cut the ribbon on its new $10 million headquarters facility in Norcross, Ga., near Atlanta. The new facility, which includes office space for the company’s finance, sales and service operations, is expected to bring an estimated 100 jobs to the area and boost the equipment maker’s market share in North America.

The new facility, which includes office space for the company’s finance, sales and service operations, is expected to bring an estimated 100 jobs to the area and boost the equipment maker’s market share in North America.

Formerly located in Elk Grove Village, Ill., the new location will include an additional 150,000 square feet of parts warehouse space. The company will maintain its 40,000-square-foot-warehouse near Chicago.

Hyundai Heavy Industries, based in Ulsan, South Korea, is the world’s largest shipbuilder and a leading global construction equipment manufacturer.
