MEC Aerial Work Platforms named Steve Citron director of business development, and Diane Tjerrild director of marketing.
Citron has 26 years of experience in the aerial industry, including 20 years with Genie Industries, where he held project and product management responsibilities for the development and ongoing maintenance of a multi-line product portfolio that represented nearly a half-billion dollars in recurring annual sales volume. Before joining MEC, Citron was director of business development for Bil-Jax Inc.
Tjerrild has 26 years of marketing experience, including six years with Mark Industries.
MEC, based in Selma, Calif., manufactures scissorlifts and telehandlers, and has dealers located around the world. The company will debut its first boomlift prototypes at The Rental Show and ConExpo, with aggressive boomlift introductions planned over the next three years.
