Case Construction launched several new products at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas this week.
Beginning with attachments, Case presented new pin-on buckets, coupler buckets, the Case Multi-Fit Coupler and the SmartFit bucket teeth system. The new attachments and components expand the versatility and productivity of Case excavators.
The pin-on buckets are designed for heavy-duty, high-capacity applications such as digging in dense soil, clay, loose rock and gravel. The new coupler offers complete hydraulic latching, enabling excavator operators to quickly attach and detach buckets and other components without leaving the cab. A patented mechanical blocking system eliminates manual safety pin insertion. The universal design enables Case excavators to connect to a wide range of Case and other OEM buckets and attachments.
The bucket teeth are now factory-installed, standard equipment on Case buckets purchased with all full-sized and mid-range excavators.
Case also introduced the company’s new 621F wheel loader, which provides up to a 10-percent increase in fuel economy compared with the previous model. The 621F evolved from Case’s E Series machines and conforms to Tier 4 Interim emission standards with selective catalytic reduction technology, which results in lower temperatures in the exhaust system while optimizing combustion.
Case offers a range of attachments for the 621F wheel loader, including pallet forks, brooms, jib booms, buckets and weigh-load systems.
Case also launched its CX210C full-sized excavator at the World of Concrete. The excavator achieves 160 net hp using Tier 4 Interim-certified cooled exhaust gas recirculation technology. A new narrow undercarriage version measuring 8-feet, 6-inches wide is available for easier transport.
Boom economy control lowers engine RPMs during the boom down and swing operation, while the auto economy control lowers RPMs when the joysticks are inactive. Swing relief control technology manages the hydraulic power allotted at the start of the swing operation, and spool stroke control creates an automatic pressure adjustment during digging operations.
