The new 21LC1050 is offered with versions of maximum load of 25, 37.5 and 50 metric tons and can be erected with reach of between 30 and 80 meters with configurations every 5 meters. In addition, an optional jib configuration is available allowing a special reach of 85 meters. The design of the slewing (horizontal) part of the 21LC1050 is similar to that of Comansa’s 21LC750 and 21LC660. Instead of having a cusp element, the jib and counterjib join directly on the slewing part, designed for faster and safer assembly. The 21LC1050 also shares a large part of the jib and counterjib sections with its "little siblings" 21LC750 and 21LC660, which allows optimizing the investment to customers who already own these models.
The most compact crane in its class thanks to a length of just 8.69 meters and a height of only 3.16 meters, an incredibly versatile machine as a result of its IC-1 Plus control system, and a fully roadable unit with a maximum weight of only 37.5 tons.
Iowa Mold Toolng
The 42684 hydraulic loader features the highest rating in the IMT lineup at 305,580 foot-pounds. It has a maximum lift capacity of 10,500 pounds, up to 84 feet of horizontal reach and a maximum vertical reach of 95 feet. A hydraulic out-and-down stabilizer span provides stability for loading and unloading palletized goods, while a high lift-to-weight ratio allows for maximum payload on the truck.
National Crane has developed a tractor-mounted version of its popular NBT30H-2, the NBT30H-2 TM. The 30-ton machine was created as a response to the company’s Voice of the Customer feedback program. It went from concept to production in just eight months. The NBT30H-2 TM features a 69-foot boom with a 78-foot max tip height that enables more job site utilization than a traditional 51-foot tractor mount boom. It also offers 360-degree stability, with and without the trailer attached, thanks to the out and down main outriggers and stabilizers, as well as a fully integrated heavy-duty front outrigger; all of which can be used with full-, mid- and retracted-span chart configurations. The hoist features a two-speed, high-performance planetary winch with a 390-foot, 9/16-inch rotation resistant wire rope that has a 7,700-pound single line pull.
Potain Cranes (Manitowoc)
A new range of High Performance Lifting (HPL) winches for Potain tower cranes feature lifting speeds up to twice that of the older 75 LVF winch. At the other end of the scale, control is improved with creep speeds that are two times slower than the 75 LVF. The models in the new winch range are: the 75 HPL 25, the 75 HPL 30, the 75 HPL 35 and the 75 HPL 40. Rope capacities range from 539 meters to 956 meters, and they can be used with a wide range of Potain cranes, including the latest topless and luffing jib models from the company. Compatible models include: the MDT 349 L16, the MDT 389 L16, the MR 295 H16, the MR 225A, the MDT 249 J12 and the MDT 269 J10.
Signifying the importance of the luffing jib tower crane design to the Terex equipment offering, Terex Cranes introduces the new Terex CTL 272-18 luffing jib tower crane that boasts a 10% increase in jib length over the previous class model. The new Terex model features a 200-foot maximum jib length, a 270 ton-meter load moment and maximum full-length load of 2.9 U.S. tons). The crane’s unique Terex Power Plus feature can temporarily increase the maximum load moment under specific and controlled conditions (e.g. reduced dynamics) by 10%, giving the operator extra lifting capacity.
