Atlas Copco’s new bucket crusher attachments feature powerful components that allow carrier operators to crush as much as 110 tons of material per hour. The drive system — two hydraulic motors and a timing belt — is designed to generate the high torque needed for powering the crushing jaw. The attachments also feature a reverse function to remove blockage. The internally mounted drive system eliminates protruding components to minimize the risk of dust entering the hydraulic system and to protect key components from flying debris. Additionally, operators can control the diameter of the crushed materials by adjusting the jaw outlet without any special tools.
Chicago Pneumatic Construction Equipment features the RX3 and RX8 in its lineup of mini hydraulic breakers that includes 1.3 to 15-ton carrier weight class. The RX3 and RX8 feature hybrid gas/oil technology, and fewer moving parts for a lower maintenance hydraulic breaker. The RX line also incorporates noise and vibration dampening technology and an internal control valve. A two-in-one design means that the cylinder and tool holder are one piece. Featuring a service weight of 329 pounds, the RX3 offers an impact rate of up to 1,500 blows per minute. The RX8 features an impact rate of up to 1,000 bpm.
Doosan hydraulic breakers are available in impact energy classes — from 2,000 to 8,000 foot-pounds — and are designed for use with seven Doosan crawler excavators (DX140LC-5 through the DX350LC-5) and the DX140W-5 wheel excavator. The DX140W-5 wheel excavator makes it convenient for operators to transport the machine and hydraulic breaker quickly, from one jobsite to the next, traveling across roads and other finished surfaces with minimal disturbance. Doosan hydraulic breakers feature an energy recovery system that increases strike power. The nitrogen-powered Doosan hydraulic breakers are equipped with an upper/lower suspension system that isolates the power unit from the housing.
The new Hilti Breaker TE 800-AVR featuring Hi Drive technology helps deliver 15 foot-pounds of impact energy. The D-handle design offers versatility for optimal horizontal and vertical breaking for demolition work on walls, correction work on floor slabs, and breaking out opening for doors and windows. And, using the new Hilti Wall chisel TE-SW, the unit delivers more impact energy and control when working with wall demolition. The TE 800-AVR is equipped with Hilti’s triple chamber sealing and an active cooling system with an intelligent air flow design, which isolates the hammering mechanism, the piston area and chuck helping prevent dust and other harmful external elements from entering the gearing.
John Deere’s Hydraulic Hammer attachments (HH20C, HH40C, HH60C and HH80C) for skid steer loaders, compact track loaders and compact excavators are optimized to work with select John Deere G- and E-Series skid steers and compact track loaders, G-Series Compact Excavators and most competitive models. The Hydraulic Hammers provide two to three times more blows per minute (BPM) than previous models. With 30 percent fewer parts, rebuild times are reduced to one hour versus eight hours, and an exclusive tool retention system enables quick installation and removal using only one small screwdriver. The units only require grease every two hours of operation.
Montabert offers eight SC-Series hydraulic breaker models designed for use with skid-steer loaders, backhoe loaders and mini-excavators weighing between 2,200 and 30,850 pounds and ranging in size from 198 to 1,098 pounds. Operators can replace the bushing, pins, and tools on most SC-Series breakers on the jobsite without removing the breaker from the carrier. A fully-enclosed, sound-proof cradle minimizes harmful vibrations, limits jobsite noise and protects working parts from dust and debris.
The Strike Force Breaker line has a wide range of models and sizes for various carriers and applications. The small mounted breakers are designed for jobs on mini excavators and skid steer loaders requiring safe and efficient handling with a high breaking capacity. The larger sizes of the Strike Force Breaker line are designed to have the most efficient piston and cylinder to transfer the highest shock wave into breaking objects. All of Paladin’s Strike Force Breakers employ only two moving parts for easy service and maintenance and are backed by a 2 year warranty.
