Hertz Renews Deal with MotoGP

Hertz Corp. has signed a one-year extension of its agreement to provide a range of services to Dorna Sports, which holds the rights to MotoGP events. Hertz will provide cars and Hertz Energy Services, a division of Hertz Equipment Rental Corp., which provides portable power and temperature control solutions for sports events, concerts, festivals and industries.

Hertz will provide cars and Hertz Energy Services, a division of Hertz Equipment Rental Corp., which provides portable power and temperature control solutions for sports events, concerts, festivals and industries.

HES will supply generators to be used in the MotoGP Paddock and climate equipment and systems for the VIP Village.

“We have extended this agreement with Dorna for a further year as MotoGP provides a platform that is helping us to be one of the best known brands, and the understanding between the two parties have been very positive,” said Olivier Lecoq, vice president of marketing of Hertz Europe. “To be tied to a brand as strong as MotoGP, during a time in which the world’s economic situation is complicated by the financial crisis, is a guarantee and we look forward to continuing to work together for a long time.”
