LBX Co., makers of Link-Belt earthmoving, forestry and material-handling equipment announced the opening of new distributor branches in Texas, Mississippi, Missouri and Quebec, Canada.

Corpus Christi, Texas-based B-C Equipment Sales has opened a new branch in San Antonio, managed by Chuck Wehring. Mid-South Machinery, based in Jackson, Miss., opened a facility in Gulfport, Miss. United Rentals opened a branch in Belton, Mo., managed by Tim Huffman, and Equipement G. Comeau, based in Saint-Thomas d'Aquin, Quebec, opened a branch in Deauville, Quebec, managed by Sylvain Auger.

Lexington, Ky.-based LBX markets and sells Link-Belt excavators, articulated trucks, wheel loaders, forestry and material handling equipment through a network of distributors.
