Construction.com, an online marketplace for equipment professionals, and Ironmax, a leading provider of construction equipment information resources, announced a strategic alliance to provide online tools for procuring and managing construction equipment.

Construction.com is owned by The McGraw-Hill Cos., whose leading brands include F.W. Dodge, which offers details on more than 500,000 construction projects valued at more than $1 trillion; Sweet's, the project resource for 90 percent of the world's architects and design professionals; Engineering News-Record; Architectural Record and Design-Build. The New York-based company also owns such brands as Standard & Poor's, Business Week and McGraw-Hill Education. Construction.com is believed to be the commercial construction industry's most visited Web site, logging more than 900,000 user sessions monthly.

Louisville, Ky.-based Ironmax offers an Internet marketplace for buyers, sellers and managers of construction equipment assets. Under the alliance, Ironmax will host an extensive set of online applications within Construction.com for buyers, sellers, renters, users and manufacturers of construction equipment, as well as service providers to the industry.
