PowerSource G10 – G125 mobile generators

Ingersoll Rand PowerSource mobile generators are designed to offer compact design for performance, simplicity and value, and the six G10 to G125 models range from 10 kVA to 125 kVA. PowerSource generators boast low noise signatures and are designed to feature best-in-class motor-starting capacity through high-quality alternators with AREP technology. Environmental skidbases provide minimum 110-percent containment of all generator fluids. PowerSource generators are multi-voltage capable and feature voltage selector switch protection, an innovative solution reducing downtime and costly damage to the generator. All controls and connection points are grouped in an ergonomically designed power pedestal for convenience and safety.

GLC Mod Express

Baldor’s Mod Express program, which takes a stock product and adds modifications, has now been extended to stock GLC (gaseous liquid-cooled) generator sets. Baldor’s new GLC generator mod express program sets the stage for a fundamental shift in the way the company can help generator customers through its service offerings. Configured for permanent standby power applications, Baldor GLC 30-100 kW natural gas and LP Vapor generator sets are built as stock open skid-mount units and designed for adding several custom modifications. The customer chooses a rating, chooses the options that will meet his specifications and specifies a ship date. At the Baldor factory, the order is assembled in a matter of hours using pre-engineered product combinations designed to interface with several ratings. The new GLC Mod Express designs maximize flexibility and minimize setup.

Portable generators: GP 3800A, GP 5600A, GPS 5600A, GP 6600A, GPS 6600A

Wacker’s premium portable generator series features a central ground fault interrupter (GFCI) system for all receptacles, including 120-volt and 240-volt twistlocks. The new GFCI sensor offers personal protection to operators no matter which receptacle is being used by monitoring all outlets for current leakage. It trips the main circuit breaker in the event of a current leakage. This system is designed to improve durability and reliability because the GFCI sensor only monitors current, eliminating the possibility of damage from over current. If a current leakage is detected, the GFCI triggers the main circuit breaker, which is rated to handle the total current output of the entire generator and can withstand current surges and repeated tripping without a problem. Conventional GFI-protected generators use small auxiliary breakers built into each 120V duplex receptacles, which can be damaged by over-current or repeated tripping, and are a frequent maintenance item on rental generators.

DGK 150D generator

Shindaiwa Construction Products, manufacturer of power generation, welding and related equipment for rental and construction markets, has expanded its kWiet Power diesel generator line by introducing the new DGK150D. This 150kVA/120kW model, with sound levels of 57 dBA at idle and 60 dBA at full load, is the industry’s quietest, operating at levels below normal conversation, the company says. It’s the second of the Ultra-Quiet Series of Shindaiwa generators, to be phased in over the next two years. Shindaiwa is the first genset manufacturer to introduce an Isuzu EPA Tier 3-certified electronic governed engine. It is also 60/50 hertz capable, electronic governed, and single and 3-phase switchable. Other features include a 74 gallon internal tank and a direct-injected, turbocharged intercooler.
